Update from Sharon!
We had a clean sweep with Grand in the Heifer and Steer Division
today with Paige and Wiley! The judge simply loved Wiley's
free moving stride and finish!

Grand Champion Steer New Jersey State Open Show August 3, 2008 for
Patrick Duddy! Beacon Hill Paige was Reserve Grand Champion Heifer

Update from Sharon:
We just finished the New Jersey State Fair Open show today and Wiley
was Grand again! He won his medium heavyweight what a
power class it was the hardest class all day. With 15 steers
in it Wiley was the lightest 1260 Warren County scales were off they
said, Steers went up to 1350 then he was selected Supreme
Grand Champion Steer over all.
We still have 4-H
tomorrow . Paige was reserve grand heifer, she was behind a
$45,000 online heifer so we will take it.
TLC Wiley selected Grand Champion Steer
in Warren County New Jersey for Patrick Duddy. Beacon
Hill Paige was Reserve Grand Champion Heifer, August 2, 2008
Update from Sharon:
Patrick Showed his Hereford heifer Paige and TLC Wiley at the
Warren County Fair to get ready for out state fair tomorrow and he
took everyone by surprise. Wiley weighed in at an even 1300. and
was in the medium heavy weight class. He was the 5th to walk in
the ring and Tim Fitzpatrick the judge took one look at him
watched him from the behind stared at him and pulled Patrick out
for first then finished judging the class. So he won that and then
went in for Grand Champion steer and won that, Then Paige won her
early summer class then won the intermediate champion then went in
for supreme champion heifer and was reserve supreme champion, Then
Patrick won his senior showmanship out of 15 then they took top 6
from classes to show again and out of top 12 he was 5th.
What an Oklahoma day.
Did you hear how well Paige did at Hereford Jr. Natl. She was 5th in her
class.

and two from HAA Contender. Dams are 2 Fullbood Braunvieh cows,
one Angus cow and 1 Half Angus/Braunvieh cow so we should collect some
good data from this contest.

due to new calves being born and needing attention in the bad
weather but our partners Diamond in the Rough Cattle Co and Flying
I Ranch did well without our help!

steers behind the Grand and Reserve Grand Champion Steers in the
Light Heavy Weight Division that won the show! He weighed in
at 1340#

luck when Titan injured his front shoulder unloading so he didn't

Fullblood/Purebred Division. The Third heifer to the left
shown by Marilyn won the show. She goes back to our bull
Silverwood Dragon. She was owned by our
Executive Director Mark Nelson of Hastings NE.
