Tulsa, OK. and Joplin, MO. just off I-44 Will Roger's Turnpike
in Northeast Oklahoma. We are Albert (Abbie) and Joan Thorne. Owners and
operators of Thorne Ranch. Our
history
runs
deep from
the
Panhandle of Texas
and the
Sand Hills of Nebraska,
where we were
both ranch
raised. Our ancestors were all in the livestock business and they instilled in us
a love for the land, great cattle and horses. Our greatest joy
is working with livestock and people in agriculture.
We don't do this for a hobby. We make our living

At TLC (Thorne Land & Cattle) we are committed to breeding the
very best cattle available in the industry today. An impressive

Donor Females
are
from a broad base of
selected genetics that are maternal and consistent producers of
outstanding off spring. We strive to improve
our herd each breeding. Maintaining free moving and
structurally correct animals is essential for our breeding

is simple, to produce "Show Performance" cattle. We have entered
steers in
various feed outs
to accumulate as much data as possible on our
leading
herd sires and
donors.
Our high performance comes from the ability to cross our four top breeds
to each other to produce champions in the show ring, the breeding
pasture and the
feed lot.
Our
"Repeat Customers"
are our best source of advertisement.

We hosted nine
production sales here at the ranch from 1997 to 2003. We felt there had to be a
more efficient way to
market our cattle. Our Internet presence has allowed us unlimited Private treaty
sales. It also allows us
extra time to spend with our customers at their convenience. Placing the best cattle for their
unique breeding programs. Plus we meet and make friendships all over the
world! It's not uncommon for folks to drop by unannounced at the Thorne
Ranch! They know they are welcome!

offer custom breeding and flushing services for "Our Customers
who purchase our cattle."
With 15 years of experience in Embryo transfer. We have some great
customers for references. A facility to accommodate our cattle and our customers. Heated chute room,
show barn with misters and fans, lab room, kitchen, office and rest
room.
